CHOICE and VEEP
The Choice Application "Priority Window" for School Year 2024-2025 was from October 2, 2023 to November 15, 2023. Parent notifications of the lottery results were sent via email in early March 2024.
Late applications may be submitted and will be processed in date/time order received. "Choice Priorities" do not apply to applications submitted after November 15, 2023. PBMS currently has a wait list for all grade levels.
The last day to complete Choice application for school year 2024-2025 is August 9, 2024.

Current 92109 Elementary School Families
Under normal circumstances, all students already attending local 92109 elementary schools (Barnard, CPJMA, PBE, and Sessions) articulate automatically to PB Middle School.
NOTE: If you are a CHOICE/VEEP student attending one of the above local 92109 elementary schools, and have changed your address or are a attending through an inter-district transfer, please confirm your status with enrollment options. You may need to submit an application.
92109 Residents
All 92109 residents have priority enrollment to Pacific Beach Middle International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. Seats will be filled first with our 92109 residents and students currently attending a 92109 elementary school (Barnard, CPJMA, PBE, Sessions).
