Math Practice: The school district has provided a math program called ST Math for our students. ST Math for Middle School includes both on-grade-level and intervention content. With ST Math, students build a strong conceptual foundation and repair cracks and gaps in that foundation - correcting misconceptions so their future math learning can snap into place. To access the program, students log in to the Clever portal and click on the ST Math icon. Using ST Math at Home. It is recommended for students to engage in this program for 30 minutes a day.

Free Tutoring: The Mission Bay High School National Honor Society is providing free tutoring. Check out this flyer for Kid By Kid for more details. Kid By Kid Flyer

Teacher Appreciation: Hello PBMS Family! Do you have an awesome teacher? Here is an opportunity to send your teachers some love! Fill out the "I Have An Awesome Teacher" Google Form below. Be sure to include your name, your teacher, and a loving message for ASB to deliver to them <3 Our teachers have been working harder than ever this year, and your kind words will mean the world to them :)

Parent Homework?!?: Do you remember the good ol’ days when schools would send you a giant packet of papers to read, sign, and return on the 1st day of school? Well, we still need you to complete those forms. The silver lining of this very different fall is that there are only 3 forms to complete and no trees were harmed. I will expect 100% completion! That’s 2 forms for each student from each family and 1 Free and Reduced Meal Application (FRM) for each family. Here is the link to the digital forms. The FRM form is submitted directly to the district. The Universal form gets sent to and the health form goes to our nurse, Nary Gantz at Thank you! LINK

FOPBSS e-blast: Don't miss out on the FOPBSS weekly e-blast with school updates, info, fundraisers and events.  Sign up at  Look for the blue box on the right hand of the screen.  You can sign up for MBHS, PBMS or both. Questions?  Email

FOPBSS CONTRIBUTION DRIVE: Contributions to FOPBSS are making a decided improvement in the quality of our student’s educational experience at PBMS and MBHS. In light of the current budget cuts in public education, however, your generous support is essential to ensure this level of excellence continues.  If every parent/guardian reading this letter donated $20.00 it would amount to approximately $44,000 this year to be directed towards enhancing programs and curriculum in need of support.  Of course, donations in any amounts are greatly appreciated!  All donations are 100% tax deductible. To donate, please visit the FOPBSS website at

Contact the school: The office phone lines will be answered live from:

Mondays: 7:00-9:00am  1:00-3:00pm
