Message from the Principal
Bike to Work Day: Tomorrow is Bike to Work day. Encourage your child to walk, bike or roll to school tomorrow and maybe try it too!
Lost & Found: Please have your child check out the lost and found. There are plenty of sweatshirts, jackets and water bottles waiting to be found in the lunch court. Valuables are kept in the main office.
CAASPP Testing: We are moving along well with our state testing. Students are staying focused and working hard. In fact, almost all of our students will be done with the entire test tomorrow! Next week, the 8th graders will finish testing with Science on Tuesday or Wednesday. Thank you for supporting and encouraging your students!
School Funding: PBMS needs your help. Every year the State and Federal governments provide extra funding to schools serving students with the biggest needs. Federal funding is called Title 1 and State funding is called LCFF. PBMS lost all of Title 1 funding for next year and had a small reduction in LCFF funds. We can get the funding restored for the 23-24 school year if we qualify based on your income range and family size. On Monday, your child will receive an LCFF Form for you to complete and return. You can also do this online in PowerSchool. Here is the JOB AID, We are expecting 100% completion. We missed qualifying for Title 1 funds by just 20 students.
Extra Elective Campaign: PBMS is raising money to help fund the extra elective program. Check out this video: 7th Period Fundraiser. To donate:

COVID Updates:In the past week, PBMS had 2 positive COVID cases on campus. Please keep your child home if they are experiencing any COVID symptoms. Weekly testing is recommended for all students.
