Cowboy Chili Cook-Off: FOPBSS is hosting a chili cookoff fundraiser on Saturday, November 5. Purchase your tickets today!

LCFF forms - 100%: Thank you all for completing the LCFF form in PowerSchool, on paper or via phone. PBMS had 100% response rate! We will keep you posted to let you know if we qualify for Title 1 funds for the 23-24 school year. 

Tutoring: All school tutoring has started. PBMS teachers are hosting tutoring 4 days a week in the mornings and afternoons. At this time, we have math, English, science, social studies/history and study skills. If your child needs help with Spanish or Chinese, please reach out to the teacher directly.  Any student is welcome. Check out the link for details: PBMS All-School Tutoring

 

6th Grade Camp Fundraiser: Show your school spirit and help send students to camp. Purchase a NEW PBMS Car Magnet. Check out this flyer for information on how you can get yours! PBMS Magnets

PBMS Updates & Reminders

Community Service: At PBMS, we expect all of our students to serve their communities and take action. Students can find opportunities in their grade level Google classrooms. Students will learn about this expectation this month through classroom presentations from Mrs. Hensen, the IB Coordinator. For more information, check out page 17 of the planner. The goals are as follows:

  • 6th grade: 10 hours

  • 7th grade: 15 hours

  • 8th grade: 20 hours with a Community Project

Choice Applications: For information on School Choice please follow this link to the SDUSD webpage: Enrollment Options. Applications are due by November 15. 

Keep Your Child Connected: There are two Google classrooms set up for all of the students at PBMS: The counseling classroom and grade level classrooms.

PBMS Merch: To purchase PBMS gear, visit the east door of the administration building before or after school (check or cash) OR  click on this Uniform Flyer, scan the QR code and purchase your student’s PE Uniform and Spirit Wear online. Students can pick up their order by bringing the receipt to the  east door of the administration building before or after school.
